Gerald has nearly 40 years’ experience as a jeweller and model/pattern maker.

He qualified in jewellery making from Sir John Cass college in London and has since diversified into other related fields.

He has produced work ranging in size from the tiniest scale models to large candlesticks and
heraldic emblems on gates in St Paul’s Cathedral. His work has been used by Aardman animation,
and in national TV adverts and major films.

Techniques have been developed from his jewellery making skills, using mainly hand tools and,
where possible, the most appropriate materials for each job.  The range of materials used includes
gold, silver, platinum, bronze, brass, wood and plastic.

His work has included a vast range of pattern making, and he is currently making patterns for cast bronze bicycles and keyrings.
